Hello, there. It's lovely to meet you.
About

"Hope begins in the dark, the stubborn hope that if you just show up and try to do the right thing, the dawn will come."
- Anne Lamott
Stories have always been a source of solace for me. From the time I was in elementary school, I'd bring chapter books home that I'd written in class, or at recess, or at lunch, or on the bus ride home, of the worlds I held in my mind.

Years of telling stories and a transformative summer at Ithaca College's Young Writers Institute, led by Eleanor Henderson, affirmed my desire to make writing a permanent part of my life.
I graduated in 2020 with a degree in English and certificate in Literary Translation Studies from the University of Rochester, where I worked with Catherine Filloux, Joanna Scott, Stephen Schottenfeld, Chad Post, K.E. Semmel, and Claudia Schaefer.

Stories kept me company through childhood, adolescent confusion, and young adulthood in the midst of a global pandemic. For me, words illuminate hope in the dark places. I hope mine will one day do the same for others.
